Our Spaces

We are so excited to announce a temporary women’s space on campus. This is something the Students' Union and University have long been working on.

The Women’s Only space is every Tuesday 12-2pm.

During summer the Women's Only Space will be held in Blomeley Room 1.

For Term 1 the space will be held in the Yurt (behind St Benet’s Chaplaincy). This space will be managed by both the Chaplaincy and the Students' Union, with a female staff member present to support capacity and provide support if needed.

We understand the widespread need of a women’s only space, and as this is a temporary space and only for one day a week, is a stepping stone in the right direction. This is a project led by your Students' Union President, Diya, and we will continue to work with the University to find a permanent space that adequately fulfils the needs of our community.

Please note due to staffing there will be no Women’s Only Space on the 28th July 2026.

Please find the terms and conditions of the space here.
