We are so excited to announce a temporary women’s space on campus. This is something the Students' Union and University have long been working on.
The Women’s Only space is every Tuesday 12-2pm in the Yurt (behind St Benet’s Chaplaincy). This space will be managed by both the Chaplaincy and the Students' Union, with a female staff member present to support capacity and provide support if needed.
We understand the widespread need of a women’s only space, and as this is a temporary space and only for one day a week, is a stepping stone in the right direction. We will continue to work with university to find a permanent space that adequately fulfils the needs of our community.
