Use your vote to decide who will represent you this year

The Students’ Union Autumn Elections are run each year so students can decide who represents them. There are 10 brand new part-time Student Rep positions up for grabs - and it's up to you to vote on who should be elected to be your voice.


For this Election all voting will take place on campus at polling stations. You can view the polling station opening times below. If you're a distance learner / studying remotely you will be able to vote online through a unique link sent to your student email address.


Voting is now open and closes Thursday 16 October at 12pm (Midday).

    Make sure you submit your online nomination by midday on 29 September to be included in the Elections!

  • Candidates Meeting
    Mon 29 Sep, 6pm

    Get all the info on running your campaign and ask any questions you have about the process.

  • Photo, Statement and Manifesto Deadline
    Wed 1 Oct, 12pm (Midday)

    Glow up your nomination! Student Representative candidates and Student Trustee candidates will need a photo and a short 50-word statement to become an official candidate, and you can also add a manifesto with more details.

  • Everyone Votes
    Mon 13 Oct, 12om (Midday) - Thurs 16 Oct, 12pm (Midday)

    Get out there and tell students why you're the best person for the role and get students to vote for you... good luck!

How to vote in the Autumn Elections!

Voting in the QMSU Autumn Elections is happening from Monday 13th October at 12pm (noon) until Thursday 16th October at 12pm (noon). All students at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) are invited to cast their votes at polling stations across our campuses.
