What do you want?
  • To provide multiple choices of vegetarian, vegan, halal, and gluten-free meal options at every QMSU outlet.
  • To provide a 20% discount on vegetarian food at all QMSU outlets on Mondays
  • To mandate the QMSU President and the Commercial Services Officer to monitor and ensure that all students with dietary requirements are represented by QMSU and have choice at all outlets.
  • To mandate the President, VP Barts and the London, and VP Welfare to lobby QMUL to provide multiple choices of vegetarian, vegan, halal, and gluten-free meal options at every QMUL food outlet and to provide a 20% discount on vegetarian food on Mondays
  • The Union would promote and explain the importance of sustainable eating and the Meat Free Mondays campaign. This would be done through the use of: www.qmsu.org, posters and information at outlets.

 

Why do you want it?

All students, including those with dietary requirements, should have food options available for purchase at all QMSU and QMUL outlets. Also, all students should have the option to choose a sustainable diet.

 

What impact will this have?

Student will have a more healthy and varied diet which will aid student welfare and the student experience.
