Should the Union send the agenda to all students?

Date embedded: February 2022

SU operations and development

Date embedded: February 2022

Proposed by: Talhah Atcha (President)
Seconded by: Shamima Akter (VP Welfare); Annika Ramos (VP Education)

Ongoing

What do you want?

A an all student email, separate from any regular SU emails, should be sent out the same day/next day Student Council receives the agenda and papers for the next Student Council meeting. We would also highly encourage that motions be put on social media as well. A follow up email with the outcomes of the Council meeting should then be sent, this can be merged into any regular emails the Union sends as well as encouraging this to also be in social media.

Why do you want it?

This will allow students to know when the next Student Council is as well as what issues are being debated.

What impact will this have?

This will allow students to feed into the processes of Student Council and help engage students more in what the SU is doing.
