And we're excited to reveal the next chapter for our on-campus shop in the Student Village....
Welcome to the QMSU Co-op
Over the years, you've told us what you'd love to see from your campus shop: more choice, better value, longer opening hours and an even better shopping experience. So, that's exactly what we're going to be bringing to you. This September, the former Village Shop becomes the QMSU Co-op, combining everything you love about your Students' Union with the quality, value and convenience of Co-op.
Here's what's new...
- A much bigger range with literally hundreds of new products.
- Better value every day, including Aldi Price Match on many everyday essentials and more offers, promotions and member deals to help your money go further.
- A bigger range of fresh food, meal deals and food-to-go for busy days on campus, with better quality products too.
- More of the brands you love, plus exciting new products to discover.
- A bigger international, vegetarian and vegan range, reflecting our diverse student community
- Longer opening hours, making it easier to shop around your day.
- A fresh new look following a full store refurb, creating a much brighter, more modern shopping experience.
But here's what isn't changing...
The QMSU Co-op will still be owned and run by Queen Mary Students' Union.
You'll still see the same friendly faces from our fantastic staff and student staff team, and you'll still be shopping with your Students' Union.
Because unlike a typical high-street convenience store, we're a not-for-profit and here just for students. Every shop. Every snack. Every coffee. Every meal deal. Every purchase you make helps fund the things we do as a charity that make student life better. Your spending in the Co-op store will still support our clubs and societies, sports, volunteering, student voice, advice services, campaigns, events, employability opportunities and so much more.
And that's what makes the QMSU Co-op different.
We like to think this store is more than a new shop, it's an investment in your campus by the Co-op and Students' Union to improve your student experience, whilst staying true to our values of being student-led and reinvesting all profits from our commercial services back into the activities and services provided by us on campus.
