It's World Mental Health Day.

This year's theme is 'mental health for all' and we're opening up the conversation and taking the opportunity to talk about mental health, share tips and advice and let you know what help and support we have on, and off, campus for you. Your mind matters!

The day is a reminder to take a breathe and make changes or seek suppport if you need it. Don't forget to take some time for yourself and do the things you love too! There are many ways to improve wellbeing and finding what works for you is important.

Our Exec have shared some of the things that improve their wellbeing,..

@presidentqmsu - sometimes I don’t know how to articulate things so find it easier to write messy songs - instruments & music make me feel understood

@communitiesqmsu - spending time looking after plants and relaxing in a green home space

@vpseqmsu - No matter how tiring my day might be, coming home just to see my little ones waiting at the door for me is a different kind of unexplainable happiness. Your furry ones are truly your best friends - they always love & look out for you in their own special ways

@welfareqmsu - Taking walks (and pictures) along Canalside

@officialblsa - Sports, especially hockey, is my way to relax. It’s such a social environment and I get to see all my friends while also doing something physical which I don’t always get to do at uni, especially this year when I’m at a desk most of my day.

We asked YOU for top tips on our Instagram and you said...
