With their regular season now finished, it’s official that our Women’s Fencing team are champions of the 2024/25 Southern Premier Division, having won 9 out of 10 games! This is the first time any of our fencing teams have won the Premier League, and our team did it in only their second season in the league!

Members of this team include Catherine Drescher, Damla Demirkol, Daniella Reyes, Ekin Tokozlu, Georgia Silk (the Club’s President), Isabel Zambito, Juliette Dresse, Maria Mergoupis, Rosie Whitaker, Shiru Lin, Soo Bynn Lee, and Tamara Gavrilenko. This includes the foil team of Silk, Whitaker, and Gavrilenko who have remained unbeaten all season long!

This season, the team successfully won against University of Oxford to claim 1st place, and beat University of Cambridge, University of Bath, University of Kent, and University College London not just once, but twice! For those who want more statistics, big wins include a 135-51 victory against the University of Kent, and a 135-84 win over the University of Bath.
